Forage only collects information when you actively provide it. We collect:

• Your email address — if you join the waitlist, so we can let you know when Forage launches.
• Feedback form data — if you submit feedback in the app, including your star rating and written comments.

We do not collect your name, location, payment details, or any other personal information unless you explicitly provide it.

The Forage app stores your meal plan, saved recipes, and preferences directly on your device. This data never leaves your device.

Form submissions are handled by Netlify Forms — SOC 2 certified, encrypted servers, HTTPS only. Netlify is a US-based service provider, which means data you submit via our forms may be stored on servers located outside Australia. By submitting your email you acknowledge this. We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies of any kind on this site.

• We will never sell your email address or personal data.
• We will never use your data for advertising or profiling.
• We will never send you spam. Waitlist emails are launch updates only.
• We will never share your feedback with third parties.

Request deletion of any data we hold at any time. To unsubscribe, reply to any email we send with "unsubscribe" and we'll remove you immediately.

Forage respects the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988.

• "Service" means the Forage iOS and Android applications, the forageapp.com.au website, and any related features or content we provide.
• "Content" means recipes, meal plans, nutritional information, and other materials made available through the Service (excluding content you provide).
• "Forage+" and "Forage Pro" mean the paid subscription tiers offering premium features, as described in the app.
• "Grocer Partners" means Woolworths, Coles, Harris Farm Markets, and any other retailers whose platforms Forage integrates with. These are independent third parties; Forage is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
• "You" refers to the individual accessing or using the Service.

By downloading the app, visiting the website, or joining the waitlist, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18, your parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes. No other right, title, or interest is transferred to you.

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicence any part of the Service or Content.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or harvest Content.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable Australian law or regulation.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notice.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access for any breach of these restrictions.

Forage allows you to add your own recipes and meal plans to the app. You retain ownership of any content you create. By adding content to the Service you grant us a limited licence to store and display it to you on your device. We do not claim ownership of your recipes and we do not share them with third parties without your consent.

All right, title, and interest in the Service, the Forage brand, the recipe library, and related materials belong to us or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the Forage name, logo, or trademarks without our prior written consent.

Forage draws on naturopathic eating principles as a general framework. Individual nutritional needs vary significantly. Always consult a registered dietitian, naturopath, or medical practitioner before making significant changes to your diet, particularly if you have a health condition, food allergy, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.

We do not guarantee that any recipe or ingredient information is free from errors, suitable for your specific dietary requirements, or current (supplier formulations can change without notice).

Forage integrates with the shopping platforms of Woolworths, Coles, Harris Farm Markets, and other grocers to help you add ingredients to your cart. These platforms are operated by independent third parties. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for their services, pricing, product availability, or terms of use.

Transactions you make through a grocer's platform are subject to that grocer's own terms and conditions. Forage is not a party to those transactions and accepts no liability in connection with them.

Certain features are available on a paid subscription basis (Forage+ and Forage Pro). Subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device, and are subject to their respective payment terms.

• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Cancellation: Manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. We cannot cancel on your behalf.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their policies. We do not issue refunds directly.
• Price changes: We will communicate any price changes with reasonable notice, consistent with platform requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forage and its founders, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage (including loss of data, revenue, or goodwill) arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, or from reliance on any Content.

Where our liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, our liability is limited to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it resupplied, at our election.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for breach of these Terms or for any other reason, with or without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, your licence to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 7, 8, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, via email to waitlist subscribers or an in-app notification). Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
• Entire agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Forage regarding the Service.
